Employee Talent Show 2002
May 17,
2002 |

There was a full house for the
Employee Talent Show including (photo at left) a full row of
tactile ASL signers and their resident guests. The evening
was dedicated to long-time activities director Melissa Seely
(seated in chair at right) as current activities director
Deb Brockman puts a comforting hand on Melissa.

Keith performs solo on the
viola.

One resident went fishing for
minnows and caught a steelhead (left). Later Lisa sings
"Angels in Waiting" while Linda Ford interprets.

Cheryl and Judy perform
"Grandpa" and "Mama He's Crazy" while Barbara Fox interprets
in the background.

Interpreter Linda Ford performs
and signs "New York, New York" to the Old Blue Eyes' music
(left). At right visitors and residents show their
appreciation for the performers.

Show continues to build
with excitement - Donna gets the crowd clapping with a
routine (left) of dance and ASL sign to the song "Great
Balls of Fire" by Jerry Lee Lewis. Ronda performs "Angels Among Us"
(center). The finale is a show-stopper as administrator
Linda Briggle twirls a baton to the beat of the
hand-clapping audience (right).

There are plenty of desserts
for the residents and guests (left). Administrator Linda
Briggle brings all the performers on
stage while twirling the baton (right).

The performers take a final
bow to a very appreciative audience.

The evening ends as performers
are congratulated and residents are greeted in an after-show
party.
